Abi Clarke

In the olden days, i.e. in the beginning of 2020, comedians may have hoped to spend several years traveling around the UK as stand-ups before being invited to join a television panel show and selling the arena tour. However, it's not so easy at the moment. One art form that can be performed live in the future is comedy, however there's no way to expect arena performances. One Bristol comedian, however, has managed to find an immense global audience during lockdown by using social media. Abi Clarke didn't set out to be an internet celebrity. Abi Clarke is a young woman of 24 who lives in Henbury along with her parents, made her first video online to "build a community of similar people who would enjoy my stand-up comedy." "I was performing a lot more shows in Devon for males 50 and over, and I began making online videos in the hope to create a following of like-minded people who would like my stand up comedy." Abi said.
