Will Ferrell
rose to fame as a cast actor on "Saturday Night Live," before
starring in such big-screen comedies as 'Elf,' 'Anchorman and 'Talladega
Nights.' Will Ferrell was born in Irvine, California in 1967. He began his
comedy career as actor in the Los Angeles-based improv group known as the
Groundlings. He was an Saturday Night Live cast member for seven years and
became a major comedic draw through off-color hits like Old School 2003 and
Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy 2004. Ferrell was a co-founder of Funny
or Die, a popular video streaming website. Ferrell also had success as an actor
voiceover in animated films like Megamind (2010). John William Ferrell was
conceived in Irvine, California on July 16, 1967. Will Ferrell is the eldest
child of Righteous Brothers keyboardist Lee Ferrell (and Kay Ferrell), but he
wasn't an ideal class clown when his time in University High School. Ferrell
was a quiet student who chose to become an elite footballer. He established the
school record for number of field goals made. Ferrell did not display the same
outrageous, humorous behaviour in homes of suburbanity like later.
